To join as a member of energy plus light incorporated (epl), you agree to:

become a member of energy plus light incorporated

support and act in accordance with energy plus light's vision, mission and philosophy

if required, pay applicable membership fees when due

comply with energy plus light's constitution and policies

Membership Acceptance, Refusal or Withdrawal Rights
energy plus light reserves the right to accept or refuse new memberships and to withdraw existing membership at any time. If your membership has been accepted, refused or withdrawn you will be notified in writing. The reason for refusal can only be applied if the person does not meet epl's constitution requirements and refuses to accept epl's policies, terms and conditions.
If you wish to withdraw your membership, you are required to complete the Membership Withdrawal form on this page by entering your membership number, full name, email address, phone number and reason for withdrawal. epl will contact you to confirm your membership withdrawal prior to finalising your request. No verbal notifications to withdraw membership will be accepted.
Valid Membership
Your epl membership will remain valid for 12 months for the membership category you have joined providing the member is not in breach of the above terms of membership and applicable membership fees are fully paid.
Payments, Refunds and Renewals
epl membership payment is payable after being accepted into the organisation. An invoice will be sent to the applicant to be paid within 7 working days. If the applicant decides to withdraw their application to join epl, the applicant must notify epl in writing via the contact button on this website anytime prior to the due date of the epl membership invoice to avoid any financial obligation.
epl has a no refund policy. Once payment has been received epl will not refund the membership fee.
Membership is due for renewal at the end of the 12 month period. Payment must be received prior to the membership expiry date.
Membership Application Process Time Frame
epl membership application is a five week process. The five week period commences from the time of receiving the application to receiving payment. The membership application invoice is due at the end of the five week process.
The five weeks provides the applicant sufficient time to reflect on their decision to join epl. If the applicant decides to withdraw their membership application, within the five week processing time frame, the applicant has no financial obligation to pay membership fee.
All epl membership applications are reviewed for completeness and presented to the epl committee for final acceptance. All applicants will receive an email advising of the decision. Applicants who are accepted will received an invoice for payment. Membership will not commence until payment is received.
Right for Appeal
Applicants refused membership have the right to appeal the decision. If the applicant is refused, an email will be sent to the applicant explaining the decision and the grounds for the decision. The applicant has the right to respond and provide further information. The email will also provide the next steps should they wish to appeal the decision. All decisions are in accordance with epl's constitution.
